Ever since 1870, when C.W. Blomqvist established Blomqvist Kunsthandel in Christiania, Blomqvist has been Norway's largest art dealer. From a gradual start, the auctions have increased to 16 this year, divided between two sales locations. Because of great demand the firm was divided into two and now comprises Blomqvist Kunsthandel and Blomqvist Nettauksjon. At Blomqvist Nettauksjon, bidding, the fall of the hammer and payment are conducted exclusively online.
