See catalogue online Winter Highlights live auction
Blomqvist is honored to present the catalogue to the Winter Highlights live auction, March 29th.
The specialists at Blomqvist have worked hard to collect the highest quality of artworks, which we proudly present to you in this catalogue.
The artworks provide an insight into 157 years of art history and range from Knud Bergslien's painting The thief is caught (1858) to Bjarne Melgaard's sculpture Little lightbulb man (2015).
The auction includes Harald Sohlberg's painting Fra Værvågen, aften (1921) which was acquired directly from the artist a hundred years ago. Since then, it has been owned by the same family. Now it is available for the first time to a larger audience, and a few days now in March it will be seen in our exhibition here at Fornebu. In a market as good as we have now, really great artworks come up for sale. The figures from last year show the highest turnover in Blomqvist's history, and the best result after the financial crisis in 2008. In a troubled world, it has been safe to invest in good art.
Bidding is possible from the sales room, by advance bidding, telephone bidding or live bidding.
